Author Edwidge Danticat To Join Area Book Discussion Group
Book discussion groups participating in the One Book for Greater Hartford project can enter a drawing for the chance to meet and discuss the selected novel "Breath, Eyes, Memory" with author Edwidge Danticat on Saturday, Sept. 21.
If you are forming or joining a book discussion group in the Greater Hartford area, and the group is reading Breath, Eyes, Memory, your group is eligible for the drawing. A lottery drawing will be held to select the discussion group that will meet with the author when she visits the area. The winning group will have the chance to discuss such topics as the themes of the book, the process of writing the book, and the culture and traditions about which Ms. Danticat writes.
